Poodle Bar and Bistro
Built within adjoining Victorian townhouses, the exquisite wooden regal archways and marble-topped bars make this Bistro achieve a cozy, yet high-class atmosphere. There are lounges with comfy chairs and leather couches that make this place feel like a true sit-in restaurant. If you are just getting back out to town after COVID, the Poodle could be your first foray back into a truly enjoyable fine dining experience.
Last but not least, Madame Sousou is another local hotspot. Right on Gertrude Street in Fitzroy, this French-inspired restaurant serves some of the best lunch and dinner in Victoria. The menu has freshly shucked oysters,, rillette au Saumon (salmon), class French Onion Soup, Steak Tartare, poultry, and more!
